Somewhere on the roads of Costa Rica in 2025

Hidden behind the palm trees, this young woman—a “Tica”—is a tireless worker. Surrounded by men, she picks ripe bunches of palm fruit every day and takes them to the oil mill.

“Here, I feel strong and free” she told me, filled with pride.
